Bishop Peter Collins

On Friday 13th September 2024 Bishop Peter Collins visited St John Henry Newman. He began his visit by leading our school community in Mass. Following this, he spent some time with members of our Governing Body and our school team.

He then took time to visit each class and spend time with all the children. The children really enjoyed meeting him and asking him questions.

Throughout his visit, Bishop Peter could not believe how quickly the school had grown in such a short space of time. When walking around the school, he was taken back to see how calm, purposeful and focused the school was.
